The team formed in 1933 as a replacement team for the Frankford Yellow Jackets, and the team colors are green, black, charcoal, silver and white.

The Philadelphia Eagles have won three NFL Championships in 1948, 1949 and 1960, three Conference Championships in 1960, 1980 and 2004, and 11 Division Championships in 1947, 1948, 1949, 1960, 1980, 1988, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2006, 2010.
