What would you find inside Queen Elizabeth II's handbag?
The Queen never goes anywhere without her...handbag. But what is inside?
It is estimated that Queen Elizabeth II owns about 200 handbags from her beloved Launer brand and now, The Telegraph are speculating on just what might be inside the bag Her Majesty can't quite live without.
Apparently, The Queen always carries her lipstick, a mirror, a £5 church donation and a handbag hook which she uses to dangle her bag from a dining table. She is also said to carry more personal trinkets such as charms given to her by her children and a picture of Prince Andrew taken upon his safe return from the Falklands War.
The Queen apparently also uses her handbag to subtlety communicate with staff. If her bag is placed on the table, she wishes for the event to end in 5 minutes whereas if her bag is placed on the floor she is not enjoying the conversation and wishes to be rescued.
