  • An illustrated postcard signed by the celebrated novelist and poet Rudyard Kipling 

Rudyard Kipling (1865 - 1936) was an English writer and poet whose most famous works include The Jungle Book (1894), Kim (1901), The Man Who Would Be King (1888) and If (1910).

In 1907 Kipling became the first English language writer awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature, and his influential works remain highly popular and in print to this day.

An antique postcard featuring an illustration of Rudyard Kipling, along with a quote from his 1891 poem The English Flag:

“And what should they know of England who only England know?”

Kipling has signed the postcard clearly beneath his portrait in black ink.

Postcard measures 3.5 x 5.5 inches.
