A 1956 Royal Christmas card hand signed by Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip
Queen Elizabeth II (1926 -2022) was Britain's longest-reigning monarch, and the longest-serving female head of state in recorded world history.
Elizabeth II and Prince Philip sent out this Royal Christmas card in 1956, just three years after the Queen's coronation.
The card measures approximately 9.75 x 7" (19.5" x 14" when opened) and is in excellent condition.
The family portrait features the Royal couple with their young children King Charles III and Princess Anne on board the Royal Yacht Brittania.
The front cover of the card is blank, save for the Queen's embossed Royal crown crest.
The card is attractively hand-signed by Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip in black fountain pen ink directly beneath their portrait.
Both signatures are crisp, clear and unfaded.
The positioning of their signatures below the image makes this card perfect for framing and display.
A rare and beautiful piece of vintage Royal memorabilia.
