Thin paper, watermark vertical, type 4 small 'Papua'. Overprint, ERROR OVERPRINT READING UPWARDS, well-centred and very fine used with Port Moreby '10 JAN 08' circular date stamp as always.
One of the classics from the British Empire featuring the Lakatoi (trading canoe) with Hanuabada Village in the background.
A key rarity of which only two sheets existed, this example being from R4/5.
Accompanied with a British Philatelic Association (BPA) certificate of authenticity (2014).
