North Borneo Labuan 1892 (Dec) 2c on 40c ochre, type 11 surcharge, sheet of 10 (5x2) with left and right margins removed, showing the complete setting, SG49.
A fresh and fine mint sheet with original gum (stamps are mostly unmounted mint).
A spectacular rarity in this form with only 130 sheets issued (a total of just 1,300 stamps).
The design of these Queen Victoria head stamps are unique because of the incorporation of Arabic manuscript in Malay language, Chinese and English.
