Brilliant mint examples with large part original gum. Typical rough perforations as almost always seen, but lovely fresh colours and far above average. A scarce set in such fine condition.
These were the last stamps issued by the Niger Coast Protectorate. On 1 January 1900, the Niger Coast Protectorate together with the southern portions of the Niger Company Territories became the protectorate of Southern Nigeria.
