Supplies of this unissued 8c scarlet stamp on thin striated paper were diverted to Australia in 1941. The few examples which were circulated result from unintended leakages of this supply.
The stamp features the Mosque at Palace, Klang which is Selangor's Royal Mosque.
A superb example of this elusive and beautiful stamp rarity, of which one sheet was discovered in Australia long after the Second World War.
