A very fine used example of this scarce government departmental issue lettered 'AG'. Neatly cancelled by a crisp Edinburgh circular date stamp for 'SP.4.1893'.
A most attractive example and the finest we have ever handled.
Accompanied with a 2000 Karl Louis Certificate of Authenticity. Karl Louis is an expert in expertising stamps from Great Britain 1840-1901. He is a Fellow of the Royal Philatelic Society, London, a member of the Association Internationale des Experts en Philatelie as well as a member of the Bund der philatelistischen Prüfer.
