A very fine unmounted mint, with full original gum, strip of four lettered 'SG-SJ', handstamped "Frank Ives Scudamore/Chief Examiner".

This handstamp was believed to be used on sheets that were earmarked for destruction between February 1854 and March 1855.

A scarce philatelic piece.
