Three fine used examples prepaying the 3d per ¼oz rate from the Crimea to England via Marseille, each stamp neatly cancelled on arrival in London by a "40" numeral. British Army Post Office circular date stamp in black on reverse for MY.1.1855 alongside London and Reading receiving circular date stamps for the 17th & 18th respectively.
