A very fine used four margin example lettered 'AC', beautifully cancelled by a crisp strike of the distinctive Channel Islands Maltese Cross.
A magnificent and very rare Maltese Cross cancellation.

Accompanied with a 1991 British Philatelic Association (BPA) Certificate of Authenticity.
Plate 25 was put to press and registered on 17 March 1842 and withdrawn from press on 11 February 1843.
