A superb unused four margin top marginal example lettered 'AD', showing part sheet inscription and silk threads.
A choice example without any creasing as is normally seen on the vast majority of examples.
This printing of the penny red is very rare as it comes from a trial printing which was not issued as it was considered to be not as safe as watermarked paper.
