George V (1865 – 1936) was King of the United Kingdom and the British Dominions, and Emperor of India.
He ascended the throne in 1910 following the death of his father Edward VII, and reigned until his death in 1936.
Signed postcard photograph depicting George V, then Prince, stood on the deck of H.M.S. Crescent.
Signed and inscribed 'George, H.M.S. Crescent 1898' in black fountain pen ink to the bottom of his image.
Postcard measures approximately 6" by 8".
