Superb unmounted mint example with full original gum.
The stamp features a painting by Chinese artist Liu Chunhua, which portrays Chairman Mao as a young man on his way to Anyuan, a small town in Jiangxi province where he worked as a labour organiser in the early 1920s. Mao's work in Anyuan was a crucial period in his life and set the foundation for his later political beliefs and actions.
