A fresh well centred example with large part original gum.
The Red Revenue stamps are Qing Dynasty revenue stamps which were overprinted (surcharged) so as to be used as postage stamps in 1897. Their limited number, fine design and intaglio printing process make these stamps some of the most sought after in the world.
