A very fine unmounted mint, with full original gum, lower right corner horizontal pair with '1A (1A)' plate numbers confirming the error. Small wrinkle on right stamp mentioned for accuracy.
Accompanied with a matching positional block of 4 of the normal stamp for comparison and presentation purposes.
Unique positional multiple of this remarkable error, involving a monocolour stamp printed from two cylinders (one of which was omitted).
Only 35 examples were discovered, and many have now been hinged, or suffered from climatic toning.
