Thom Yorke's original Radiohead lyrics to auction for charity
Thom Yorke is to auction the original handwritten draft lyrics to the Radiohead song 'Airbag' for charity.
The lyrics are written inside a copy of William Blake's 'Song of Innocence and Experience' which Yorke has heavily annotated throughout. Airbag is the opening track on the 1997 Radiohead album 'Ok Computer' and was written after Yorke and his girlfriend were involved in a car crash, it was originally titled 'An Airbag Saved my Life.'
The lyrics are being sold through auctioneers Dreweatts and Bloomsbury to benefit Oxfam and will be up for sale on the 18th of March with an estimate of £800-£1,200.
