A 2,500 T Rex skull arriving at the Burke Museum
This is the extraordinary image of a 2,500 pound Tyrannosaurus Rex skull arriving at the Burke Museum at the University of Washington in Seattle.
This is one of just 15 complete T Rex skulls ever to have been discovered and it was happened upon by two passers by who noticed the bones sticking out from a hillside in Northern Montana.
So far researchers have determined that the skull belonged to a 40 foot long, 15 year old T Rex that died around 300,000 years before the mass extinction that wiped out dinosaurs.
They hope to have the skull out on display by March so if you find yourself in Seattle I'd definitely check this out!
