Zanzibar 1896 (15 Aug) 2½ on 2a pale blue, type 7 surcharge, showing tall second "z", SG27C.

A fine and fresh mint example with large part original gum. Small gum crease, which is inconsequential as far above average quality for this issue.

Very scarce, with only 384 issued of even the basic stamp and most of those were used.
