St Vincent 1862 6d deep green, no watermark, IMPERFORATE horizontal pair, SG4b.

A fine mint pair with large margins, fresh colour and large part original gum. An exceptional quality example, rarely ever seen in this condition and thus extremely rare. Most examples found are without gum.

These, the first stamps issued by St Vincent, adopted the Queen Victoria side-face portrait.

Accompanied with a clear British Philatelic Association (BPA) certificate of authenticity (2006).
