Pristine quality block of four, unmounted mint with full original gum.

A scarce block in this form and in such fine condition.

The designs of the pictorial Canada stamps first issued in 1942 represented Canada's contributions to the Allied war effort during World War II. This 20c stamp features the launching of the small lightly armed warship, Corvette HMCS La Malbaie, Sorel.
