Great Britain 1971 7½p "Ulster 1971 Paintings" imprimaturs, SG882var.
A superb unmounted mint, with full original gum, bottom right hand corner marginal “Traffic light" vertical strip of three imperforate imprimaturs cach with a “BPMA" handstamp on reverse.
The stamp issue features the Deer's Meadow painting by Tom Carr.
A scarce positional example from the first approved printing sheet.
Exceptional provenance as it was released from the British Postal Museum Archives in 2014. Prior to this it was stored in the museum archives in climate controlled vaults since being printed and is therefore in uncirculated mint condition.
Stanley Gibbons catalogue value: £6,500.
