The Queen Mother signed and sent out this stunning Christmas card in 1954, just a year after her daughter, Elizabeth II's, accession to the throne.
The portrait features the Queen Mother and Princess Margaret dressed in their coronation robes in 1953.
The card is beautifully signed and dated "1954, from Elizabeth R", in black ink.
The card is signed by the Queen Mother on the left-hand inside panel, with the portrait on the right.
It bears a gilt embossed royal crown on the front.
This rare card card measures approximately 6.5 x 8 inches when closed.
The Christmas card comes with superb provenance, having been originally presented to a valued employee at Buckingham Palace and passed down through his family for more than 60 years.
