Pakistan 1951-56 'Fourth Anniversary of Independence' 2½a carmine, 3a purple, 6a brown-orange, 8a sepia, 12a slate, five values, each in an IMPERFORATE horizontal pair, SG55/62.

A very fine set of unmounted mint pairs with full original gum and unique in this form. The 3½a, 4a and 10a values are not known to exist in this form.

A most attractive set featuring fantastic intricate designs including Pottery, stylised Aeroplane and Hourglass, Saracenic Leaf Pattern and Archway and Lamp.
