Great Britain 1941-42 ½d-3d Definitives First Day Covers (Pale colours), SG485/90.

Very fine set of six envelopes each bearing a used block of four cancelled by circular date stamps for the first day of issue.

The ½d stamp includes an additional single example at the right. The 2d & 2½d stamps show control J/41, cylinders 24 dot and 70 no dot respectively. The 1d envelope showing some minor toning, fairly inconsequential as it is such a scarce set to assemble as first day covers.
