A very fine unmounted mint, with full original gum, set of two side marginal imperforate imprimaturs with "NPM IMPRIMATUR" handstamps on reverse.
A scarce pair from the first approved printing sheet of the issue.
The Freedom from Hunger stamps were issued as part of a worldwide co-operative effort at the time to focus attention on the problem of hunger and malnutrition.
