British Honduras 1921 Peace 2c rose-red, block of 4, upper right stamp variety 'C of CA missing from watermark', SG121a.
A fresh quality unmounted mint with full original gum block of four of this wonderful stamp issue.
Choice quality indeed and very scarce, particularly with the watermark variety within a block of four.
The 'Peace' stamp issue from the end of World War I was British Honduras' first commemorative stamp, which appeared in 1921. It was reissued the following year as a 4c stamp in grey, but with the words 'Peace" removed from the design.
