Ceylon 1857-59 1s slate-violet, imperforate, horizontal pair, SG10.

A fine used pair with good to very large margins (reduced sheet margin at foot), crisply cancelled by ovals of bars which leave profile clear on right stamp. Severed and rejoined, nevertheless a rare multiple in such fine condition. Excellent fresh colour.
