Utica Club

Utica Club is a lager first produced in 1888 by the West End Brewing company, now known as the Matt Brewing Company.

The beer takes its name from the town of Utica, New York State, where it is brewed.

It continues to be produced today.

The beer is perhaps best known as the first beer legally produced in the US following prohibition.

Vintage Utica Club clocks

Vintage Utica Club clocks were produced mainly during the 1960s and came in a range of styles, including that of a backlit framed photograph of an Utica Club beer, allied with a small clock in the bottom right-hand corner.

Buyers should beware modern day circular reproductions of original Utica Club advertisements.

How much are vintage Utica Club clocks worth?

Good condition vintage Utica Club “framed photograph” clocks can sell for around $40 at internet auction sites. Other varitants have sold for around $65.
