An array of exotic European supercars will be offered in South Florida this weekend, at Barrett-Jackson’s 15th Annual Palm Beach Auction.

The highly-anticipated auction will include both vintage and modern examples from European giants such as Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini and Aston Martin.

According to Barrett-Jackson, "an unprecedented number of world-class, prequalified bidders representing several hundred million dollars in buying power will be converging at South Florida’s premier automotive lifestyle event. The prestigious buyers are likely to be among those attracted by the performance and romance only an exotic supercar can offer."

Italian flair and performance will be on display, with numerous prancing horses and charging bulls hitting the block.

Highlights will include a 2010 Ferrari 599 GTB, a 2007 430 F430 Spider, a 1994 Lamborghini Diablo and a 1988 Lamborghini Countach.

The market for Porsches continues to go from strength to strength, and collectors will have the chance to bid on a museum quality 1979 Porsche 911 Turbo, alongside a more contemporary 2008 Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet.

For those who fancy themselves as James Bond, the sale will also present three modern Aston Martins, each with the perfect combination of power and elegance: a 2014 Vanquish finished in Skyfall Silver;  a 2008 Vantage convertible with only 37,000 miles on the clock; and a custom-designed 2006 DB9 Volante.

"Not only are we bringing a docket filled with the hottest supercars, we also have the 'who's who' of auction buyers attending our Palm Beach event," said Craig Jackson, chairman and CEO of Barrett-Jackson.

"Supercars are as much a part of the South Florida scene as palm trees and pristine yachts. From a docket flavored with these highly coveted exotics to the strongest buying audience in South Florida, the Palm Beach Auction will be a true jet-set event that cannot be missed."

The three-day event takes place at the South Florida Showground on April 6-8.
