Yuengling surfboards are collectible surfboards featuring the logo of US brewery Yuengling. History of Yuengling
Yuengling is the oldest extant brewery in the US.
Founded in Pottsville, Pennsylvania in 1829 by David Gottlob Jüngling as the Eagle Brewery, it changed its name to DG Yuengling and Son in 1873. The bald eagle in the company’s logo is a reminder of its first name.
The company survived the growth of large commercial breweries in the 1970s and now produces around 2.3 billion barrels each year, ensuring its place among the top 10 commercial American breweries.
The brewery is famed for its range of collectibles, which range from die cast models to Christmas ornaments. Surfboards are among the most desirable Yuengling collectibles.
Yuengling surfboards comprise a variety of decorative designs, including the company’s famous depiction of four dogs holding Yuengling beers. Pairs of surfboards have also been fashioned into collectible benches. Most Yuengling surfboards are contemporary productions.
How much are Yuengling surfboards worth?
Yuengling surfboards have been offered for up to $170 on internet auction sites, while surfboard benches have sold for $55 in the past.
