Zachary's holiday wine auction will feature bottles from around the world
Zarachy’s December 4-5 holiday wine auction in New York will feature over 1,000 bottles from producers around the world.
The sale will take place at the Smith and Wollensky steakhouse and will include picks from the cellar of international tax lawyer Bob Hudson.
Among the highlights are a Nebuchadnezzar (equivalent to 20 bottles) of 2000 Mouton Rothschild and a 1991 Harlan Estate vertical.
There is also a special selection of Italian wines available, which will include lots from Sassicaia, Ornellaia and Mascarello.
Jeff Zacharia, head of Zachary’s, comments: “The Holiday Auction is always a fun one at Zachys.
“In this business we so often focus on estimates, but wines are meant for enjoying with friends. It’s nice to remember that fact every once in a while and so there are many lots which means you can do just that.”
