Vintage Ingersoll Pinocchio wrist watches are collectible watches made by Ingersoll in the late 1940s, depicting the Disney version of popular children’s character Pinocchio.

According to the 1930 Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act’s definition, “vintage” refers to pieces manufactured within the last 100 years and can include items made as recently as the 1980s.


The watches were manufactured around 1948 by the Connecticut, US-based Ingersoll-Waterbury Company, responsible for Waterbury clocks, and the Ingersoll Mickey Mouse watch for boys.

Vintage Ingersoll Pinocchio wrist watches feature a depiction of Pinocchio. The character’s arms were employed as dials.

The pin-lever watches are generally regarded to be unreliable time keepers but are nevertheless extremely collectible due to their considerable rarity.
