Leading the sale is a unique Patek Philippe ref. 3843/1 white gold triangular bracelet watch. Created in 1991, and previously unknown to experts, the watch's unique shape houses a portrait diamond of 13.43 carats as its crystal.
Described as "one of the most resplendent timepieces any enthusiasts could desire to own", the watch will be offered with an estimate of $370,000-$620,000.
Further notable lots from the celebrated Swiss manufacturer will include an 18K white gold ref. 3939HG minute repeating tourbillon wristwatch, one of just three known examples, estimated at $225,000-$400,000; and a platinum ref. 5004P perpetual calendar split seconds chronograph circa. 1997, offered at auction for the first time, estimated at $170,000-$260,000.
Independent watch makers are well-represented and celebrated throughout the sale, with prime examples from the likes of Philippe Dufour, F.P. Journe, Greubel Forsey, MB&F and Richard Mille amongst others.
These include a Greubel Forsey platinum tourbillon dual time zone world time asymmetrical wristwatch valued at £213,800-$317,465; and a Philippe Dufour 'Simplicity' wristwatch, finished in white gold case with a silver guilloché engraved dial, estimated at $110,000-$180,000.
Aside from watches, the sale will also offer an exquisite array of clocks, led by a Cartier mantel clock in the form of a colourful parrot. Made from 18k gold and set with diamonds, yellow diamonds, rubies, emeralds, sapphires, mother-of-pearl and onyx, the striking clock dates from 1991 and is valued at $207,325-$414,650.
