The Patek Philippe Supercomplcation is indeed aptly named, as one of the most over-engineered pocket watches of all time. This one just sold yesterday in a Sotheby's auction for £15 million ($24 million). Made in 1932, the watch not only shows the time and date but also has separate dials for stopwatch functions, but most importantly a star chart (as seen from New York) and a display of The Moon phases. Not only is this the most complicated watch ever made, but it's also one of the most splendid.
