An ultra-rare factory sealed NES video game has attracted bids of almost $100,000 on E Bay. The game is a 1987 NES game called Stadium Events which was originally released by Bandai as a test title for its Family Fun Fitness Control Mat, an early version of the technology now found in Dance Dance Revolution floor pads. Nintendo however bought this technology for itself and demanded that any existing copies featuring the Fitness Control Mat be returned so that they could re brand the game with their own version of the mat-the NES Power Pad. Of the 2000 copies of the game that were produced, only 200 made it onto shop shelves and even fewer were sold-this is one of two known copies still in its original box. The ebay auction will finish this week.
