The urban legend which claimed that a hoard of famously bad Atari 2600 Video Games based on the Spielberg classic E.T were buried in the the New Mexico desert proved true over the weekend as the hoard was uncovered. The game is referred to as the worst ever made and failed to sell after being bought by Atari for a massive $28 Million dollars. The game is blamed for the downfall of Atari and the early video game industry. It was recovered by a team making a documentary, led by director Zak Penn.
