The mystery behind the Curt Flood Trading Cards

2015-07-06 13:26:31

The 1964 Curt Flood trading card is an odd one. Poor examples go for $30, where as one in mint condition could sell for $1,000. It turns out that one collector has been buying these cards for years, driving up the value of an otherwise not rare and not hugely collectible card. The collector in question, Mike Hally has achieved a mythical status himself as the 'Flood Guy.' Nice to see there are still a few urban legends around!
