Apparently there is a massive pit full of hundreds of valuable Star Wars toys in Leicester-dumped by the toy makers Palitoy.

For years rumors have circulated that the toy company used to dump their old and unwanted toys near their factory in Coalville and now, former chief designer Bob Brechin has claimed that there is some truth to this tale.

Brechin has said that the company used to dump their old toys at Lount Pit recycling centre, much to the enjoyment of local children who were often spotted rummaging in the area in the hope of finding a free Star Wars toy.

The former Palitoy factory has been closed since 1994 but it's highly likely that the old Star Wars pit is still in existence.

Star Wars figures can be worth up to £18,000.
