Martin Luther: the fastest selling Playmobil ever for some reason
Playmobil has probably never been called "The thinking man's Lego" but now it might have the right to, after announcing that their Martin luther figure has become their fastest selling figure of all time.
The limited edition figure has been released to celebrate 500 years since the Protestant Reformation, which took place in 1517. In spite of the two year wait until the start of celebrations, all 34,000 figures sold out in three days.
Martin Luther was integral in the Protestant Reformation and one of the country's leading scholars. His distinguishing features included his lack of nose, rigid arm movements and fingerless, taco-like hands. Restocks are due in April.
