Japan opens cafe for your cuddly toy
Japan has opened a cafe for your cuddly toy-where it can go and eat fluffy pancakes, socialise and tell ghost stories for £26 a sitting. Oh and they operate a no humans allowed policy.
The cafe pretty much hands Japan the crown as the king of niche cafes, completing a line up that includes the very Lynchian owl themed cafe full of real owls and a moomin cafe where you can choose to dine with a huge stuffed moomin toy rather than dine alone.
The cuddly toy cafe is called Yawarakan's Cafe and features tiny tables, tiny drinks and tiny snacks-oh and its tiny seats are fully booked until November.
Visitors must be no bigger than the size of your hand and have to be mailed the night before their reservation. Visitors are treated to a meal, games, drinks, ghost stories and a nights lodging before they are shipped back to their owners with a bag of souveniers.
