Bagpuss & The Clangers heading to London for exhibition
Bagpuss and The Clangers will be making their way to London's Museum of Childhood this weekend as part of a new exhibition which takes a look behind the scenes at the people who helped bring the much loved characters to life-Oliver Postgate and Peter Firmin.
Postgate and Firmin began their Smallfilms company in the 1950s and were responsible for some of Britain's most endearing and magical children's television shows during their 30 years of production.
The exhibition will offer visitors the chance to see original scripts for the shows (yes, including a script for The Clangers), original puppets and a stop-motion camera built by Postgate. Visitors will also be able to crate their own characters on iPads.
The exhibition: The Clangers, Bagpuss & Co is open from March, 19 to October, 9.
