The last letter that was written on the RMS Titanic has sold for £119,000 at auction. The letter was written by Esther Hart and her seven-year-old daughter Eva eight hours before the ship hit an iceberg and sank in 1912. It survived inside the pocket of Harts husbands coat pocket which he had given her to keep warm. Her husband along with 1,500 died in the disaster. The letter was sold by Henry Aldridge & Son of Devizes who also famously sold the violin which played as the ship sank-for £900,000
