The Tennis Collectors of America is an organization for sports memorabilia collectors specialising in tennis memorabilia and collectibles.

About the society

The society was established in 2003 by a number of enthusiastic collectors including Ken Benner, Jeanne Cherry, Randy Crow, Mike Eden, Greg Wilt and Priscilla Wilt, supported by a further 54 members who offered time and financial support to the project.

The aim of the group is to promote the hobby of tennis memorabilia collecting by creating a network of collectors throughout the United States. Through their website, national and regional meetings and co-operation with other collecting associations, the Tennis Collectors of America hope to further knowledge on the history of the game through its memorabilia and ephemera.

Member benefits

Members of the Tennis Collectors of America receive copies of ‘The Journal of the Tennis Collectors of America’ which is published at least three times each year. The journal contains articles, research, society news and information on forthcoming events.

They also receive the details of other members, enabling likeminded collectors to contact each other regarding trades, the sale of items and the organization of social collecting events across the country.

Each year the society also hosts an annual four-day convention, featuring social events, educational seminars and tickets to a tennis tournament.
