Rare Wolves FA cup final shirt to fetch £6,000
A rare Wolves shirt that was worn in the 1921 FA cup final against Spurs by Thomas ‘Tancy’ Lea is expected to fetch up to £6,000 at auction.
The black and yellow shirt was only worn by Lea during the first half of the game as heavy rainfall forced players to change shirts at halftime.
Unlike the 'second half shirts' this shirt bears an emroidered Coat of Arms of Wolverhampton featuring the motto: Out Of Darkness Cometh Light.
Sports memorabilia specialists Graham Budd will be auctionning the shirt in London on the 18th of May.
