Middlesbrough FC auction signed football shirts for charity
Middlesbrough F.C have auctioned off signed football shirts for charity-with popular player George Friend's fetching the highest hammer price.
Friend's shirt managed an impressive £415 at the auction which saw 35 shirts, some of which were match worn, auction for Sky Bet's #BidToRemember auction in aid of the Royak British Legion's Poppy Appeal.
In total the sale managed £7,299 for the appeal which will provide funding for vital services.
