Heritage Auctions has announced to upcoming sale of the Jerry Kramer Collection, featuring memorabilia from the career of the Green Bay Packers Offensive Lineman.

The auction will include game-worn jerseys, equipment, personal mementos and ephemera, along with his 1967 Super Bowl ring, described as "the most significant NFL Championship ring ever offered at auction".

Kramer spent his entire 11-year professional career with the Packers, as part of the legendary Vince Lombardi era which saw the team sweep to victory in Super Bowls 1 and 2.

Kramer was also a five-time NFL champion, a five-time All-Pro, and a member of the NFL's 50th anniversary team, and is rated No. 1 in NFL Network's Top 10 list of players not in the Hall of Fame.

"Kramer is widely considered the greatest player lacking Hall of Fame enshrinement," said Chris Nerat, Sports Consignment Director at Heritage Auctions. "He's the sturdy foundation of the greatest era of dominance in NFL history, the epitome of the hard-nosed, take-no-prisoners Lombardi ethic."

The 1967 Super Bowl ring is the first notable Green Bay Packer ring offered for sale from the historic inaugural game. Described as one of "the greatest treasures of the football collectibles hobby", it's expected to sell for more than $100,000.

The current record auction price for a Super Bowl ring stands at $230,401, set in 2012 when Lawrence Taylor’s Super Bowl XXV ring sold at SCP Auctions.

Further treasures will include Kramer's game-worn jersey from the 1967 Super Bowl, his 1965 NFL Championship ring, his 1962 NFL Championship wristwatch, his 1975 Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame presentational ring, and his 1961 Green Bay Packers team signed football, from Lombardi's first-ever championship.

The Jerry Kramer Collection will be offered at Heritage as part of the Platinum Night Sports Auction at the Fletcher-Sinclair Mansion in New York on February 20.
