Jacksonville Jaguars Collectibles And Memorabilia

Jacksonville Jaguars Collectibles And Memorabilia are items relating to the professional American football team based in Jacksonville, Florida.

Brief history/biography

The Jacksonville Jaguars joined the NFL in 1995.

The team colors are teal, black, gold and white, and the team mascot has been "Jaxson de Ville" the Jaguar since 2006. (Jaxson has earned a reputation of making entertaining and dramatic appearances by sliding down a rope from the scoreboard, parachuting into the stadium, or even bungee jumping off the stadium lights until the NFL changed the mascot rules in 1998).

The team is also said to have rivalries with more than one team in the NFL, such as the Miami Dolphins, the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Carolina Panthers, the Tennessee Titans, the Indianapolis Colts and the Houston Texans.

The Jacksonville Jaguars haven't won any NFL League Championships to date, however, the team has won two division Championships in 1998 and 1999, and have also appeared in the Playoffs six different times (in 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2005 and 2007).

Some of the most notable players who once played for the Jacksonville Jaguars include Tony Boselli (who played for the team in 2006), Byron Leftwich (who played for the team from 2003 to 2006), Josh Scobee (who has been playing for the team since 2004) and Fred Taylor (who played for the team from 1998 to 2008).

The National Football League sold Fred Taylor's signed and game-used Jacksonville Jaguars jersey which he wore during the 2004 season for $1,400 in February of 2005. The jersey shows good game use and also comes with a certificate of authenticity from PSA/DNA and the NFL.

Guide for collectors

Memorabilia that was once owned, used or signed by Byron Leftwich (who played for the team from 2003 to 2006), Josh Scobee (who has been playing for the team since 2004) and Fred Taylor (who played for the team from 1998 to 2008) is considered to be the most valuable.

Only 25,000 limited edition Jacksonville Jaguars' footballs which were signed by Josh Skobee are known to exist.

Memorabilia which dates back to the 1990s, or more specifically, when the Jacksonville Jaguars joined the NFL during the 1995 to 1996 season, is considered to be more rare than memorabilia from the 2000s to present.

Restoration of a Jacksonville Jaguars jersey, uniform, helmet, jewellery football, program, Championship ring or Championship coin is not recommended.
