Football fan to auction Adidas memorabilia
A fan of the Scottish football club Airdrieonians F.C. is to auction off a collection of exclusive Adidas memorabilia as part of a special project.
Mark Allison started up the ‘Sammy’s Shelter’ project (named in memory of the late Diamonds midfielder Sammy Conn) after being diagnosed with cancer. The project aims to build a section for disabled fans at Airdrie’s New Broomfield stadium, which could cost around £7000.
So far the project has received more than 30 pieces of memorabilia from around the world.
